Six Sigma Green Belt Wave V Certification

The Green Belt Wave V Certification ceremony held in Fabriano on December 2017 awarded 8 new Aristonthermo employees.
Six Sigma Green Belt is an intense 2 weeks full immersion training that provides the highest Statistical, Data Driven Problem Solving, and Process Analysis skills.

To be eligible for certification Green Belts have to pass a first ‘technical’ exam and a second ‘practical’ gate in which through the development of a Six Sigma project they have to prove to be able to apply the DMAIC concepts & tools.

From now on it is expected for them to continuously apply this new way to work, as the certification is not a goal reached, but really a starting point for a series of successful applications.
Big congratulations to Carlo Baldelli, David Battisti, Vincenzo Carrozzo, Roberto Cingolani, Serge René Ghidelli, Elisa Mariotti, Corrado Moglie, Manuel Romagnoli for this important achievement.

They have developed 7 projects attacking most important issue in different areas as:

The assessment of the Osimo incoming functional test benches
In the definition of the process to determine the correct amount of insulation foam to be injected into Electrical Water Heaters
Setting the foam injection process under control on the shopfloor
Implementing a reliability test to be applied on the WHB electrodes during the development phase
Applying Lean principles to a supplier, reducing wastes, recovering around 30% productivity
Reducing variability of the safety temperature calibration setting of the TBS thermostat, increasing Cpk to 1,4 from 0,8
Assessing and aligning the aesthetical judgement of the Galevo II HE glass display, reducing control time by 30% and ensuring nor ‘good’ parts to be scrapped nor ‘bad’ parts to be judged ok

These projects are a consistent step forward in our never ending Quality journey and Customer satisfaction improvement.
