Every edition has a leading topic, identified in 2018 with the title "Fight against disposable plastic", aiming to awaken awareness of all consumers to reduce pollution of nature reserves and the negative impact that the excessive use of plastic has on the health of every human being.

With the aim of sensitizing its employees towards the topic, Ariston Thermo decided to join the 2018 Day, through the organization of a series of initiatives and the preparation of materials to be distributed internally at all levels including:

  • official data provided by the UN on the production of plastic and degradation times, as well as practical and useful advices to reduce the quantities;
  • measures to be taken to fight bad habits, to make the audience aware of the importance of reducing the production of plastic waste at the workplace and in everyday life;
  • the integration of the topic within training courses of the Group’s employees.

Ariston Thermo has always placed energy efficiency at the heart of the sustainable growth and, in line with its own mission, makes its employees and clients aware of the importance of rationally using natural, energetic and water resources, always in respect of our planet.
