Ariston Thermo acquires Calorex in Mexico
Ariston Thermo Group, one of the main international leaders in the thermal comfort sector, and the Mexican conglomerate Grupo Industrial Saltillo signed an agreement for the acquisition of 100% of Calorex, a company holding a significant leadership in Mexico for water heating solutions in the residential and commercial sector.
With more than 70 years of history, Calorex has a significant leadership in the Mexican market and boasts a presence in terms of quality and reliability of its products also in the United States and Latin America. In 2017 the company achieved a turnover of around 130 million dollars of which 20 million dollars in the United States.
With this operation, Ariston Thermo consolidates its presence in the American continent, acquiring a leading position in Mexico and placing a fundamental element to strengthen the growth potential in North America as well as in Central and Latin America.
