Icona News Ariston Thermo Group ARISTON GROUP AT THE WORLD HYDROGEN CONGRESS TO DISCUSS GREEN HYDROGEN FOR THERMAL COMFORT

Ariston Group participates in the Word Hydrogen Congress, in Rotterdam, from October 11th to 13th, to discuss and present its views on green hydrogen. Green hydrogen, obtained from renewable energy sources, is to be considered a fundamental ally in accelerating the energy transition. Complementary to renewable electricity and other green gases, such as biomethane, it can in fact contribute to the diversification of the overall energy mix, by encouraging the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Ariston Group has invested in the development of hydrogen solutions to further enrich its offer of sustainable and cutting-edge technologies, focused on heat pumps and other renewable solutions. As a member of the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance, the Group counts green hydrogen among the solutions that can foster the decarbonization of the construction sector, due to the ability that a wider mix of energy sources and technologies has to respond in a timely manner to all the needs of different categories of buildings. Ariston Group's investments in R&D gave rise to the Hydrogen House Lab, in Osimo, Italy: among the activities, hydrogen production has been successfully carried out, also from photovoltaic electricity. The first range of condensing boilers certified to operate with a 20% hydrogen blend and with smart combustion systems able to automatically adapt to any variations in the mix has already been released in the main European markets. While, tests on a new boiler designed to run on 100% hydrogen are currently ongoing.
